Ana Navarro, a co-host on "The View," has revealed that she is taking the weight-loss medication Mounjaro. Navarro, 54, made the admission on Tuesday's episode of the talk show, stating that the drug has contributed to her significant weight loss over the past few years. "Those were all pre-Mounjaro," she said, referencing an old clip of herself dancing, adding, "We've lost the equivalent of a baby hippo on that stage."

In June 2023, speculation arose among Navarro's social media followers that she might be using Ozempic after she posted a slimmer photo of herself on Instagram. At the time, she attributed her weight loss to a lifestyle change that included attending a wellness spa in Mexico with friends, focusing on healthier cooking and eating habits, and increasing her physical activity. "We did all sorts of exercise classes for hours a day," she stated, per People. "When we came back to Miami, we were determined to continue some of our healthy habits."

Navarro also mentioned working with a nutritionist and a medical supervisor after discovering she was pre-diabetic. "So it's been a complete lifestyle change – except for the damn rosé and margaritas, which I can't give up," she commented, noting that she is not equipped to offer advice or endorse any particular solution, as her own journey is a "daily struggle."

Navarro is not the only co-host on "The View" to have discussed using Mounjaro. In March 2024, Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin both shared on air that they use the medication. Goldberg, 70, explained that she began taking Mounjaro after her weight increased to nearly 300 pounds while filming the 2022 movie "Till." "I had taken all those steroids, I was on all this stuff, and one of the things that’s helped me drop the weight is the Mounjaro –– that’s what I use," she said.

Hostin, 57, shared that she used Mounjaro after gaining 40 pounds during the COVID-19 pandemic. The lawyer recalled receiving negative emails suggesting she was "too skinny" and taking the drug away from diabetics. She expressed that she experienced greater "shame" over her weight gain prior to using the medication. "There is shame when you’ve gained weight, and I have never experienced that kinda shame before," Hostin stated.
