Amanda Holden, 55, has detailed her approach to maintaining her physique, emphasizing a diet strategy inspired by Elizabeth Hurley and consistent use of her Peloton bike.

Holden follows a dietary regimen where she consumes one substantial meal per day. For breakfast, she opts for an egg white omelet with spinach, feta, and avocado, accompanied by a green juice. She typically refrains from eating again until the evening. "I'm a vegetarian, so I think I'm probably accidentally pretty healthy," Holden stated, adding, "But I do love my food and I love my alcohol, especially an Aperol Spritz in this weather!"

She expressed a philosophy of not overly restricting her diet, believing in allowing occasional indulgences. "I applaud whatever works for anybody else, but I can't be one of those people that cuts stuff out. I just think life is tricky as it is, so just let yourself have what you want within good reason. A little bit of everything is good," she explained.

When discussing her ability to strike a confident pose, Holden admitted to naturally holding her breath, a trait she believes is common among women. She also attributes her physique to genetics, noting that her mother and grandmother are also slim. "I just love getting on my Peloton!" she said, incorporating two to three sessions per week regardless of weather conditions, as it easily fits into her schedule.

Holden also addressed online negativity, stating she does not dwell on negative comments and has developed a tougher skin due to her industry. She believes in confronting negativity directly if possible, indicating a readiness to handle criticism. "I always say, 'I'm never knowingly understated' is what will go on my tombstone," she remarked.

She described her makeup as her "armour" for facing the day, typically including lashes and lip gloss. Sunglasses are also a frequent accessory, offering a quick way to feel more put-together on less confident days.

Recently, Holden hosted the L'Oréal's Professional Color Trophy awards at the O2 Arena in London. She described the event as a "surreal, out of body experience," noting the packed venue, large catwalk, and elaborate hair shows created an energetic atmosphere she likened to a "rave for hairdressers."
