Alexandra Keating, daughter of former Australian Prime Minister Paul Keating, is selling her Hollywood Hills home in Los Angeles for $2.2 million. The property, located in Laurel Canyon, has a storied past that includes hosting parties for celebrities and a period where Keating's sister, Katherine, sought refuge there following revelations of her connections to financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Keating and her husband, film director Rupert Sanders, purchased the 1920s home in 2018. The house was previously owned by interior designer Paul Fortune, known for his lavish parties attended by figures like Mick Jagger and Madonna. Before his death in 2020, Fortune had sold the property in 2013.

During her ownership, the home became associated with controversy involving Alexandra's sister, Katherine. In 2019, Katherine Keating reportedly stayed at the property as her links to Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Prince Andrew came to light. Katherine had previously associated with Epstein socially between 2010 and 2013, after he had served prison time for sex offenses. Emails later released by the U.S. Department of Justice indicated Katherine had offered to bring her younger sister to a lunch with Epstein and Woody Allen. Katherine has stated her correspondence with Epstein was an attempt to meet business leaders and that she had no knowledge of his criminal activities.

Alexandra Keating herself was approached by reporters at the home in 2019 regarding her sister's connection to Prince Andrew, an incident captured in a 2010 video leaving Epstein's Manhattan townhouse. She declined to comment on the matter at the time.

The home also holds a personal history for Sanders, who moved in with Keating after his previous marriage ended due to an affair with actress Kristen Stewart in 2012. Stewart later spoke about the public fallout from that period.

Keating announced the sale on Instagram, describing the house as a place where "Madonna came after hours, where LA's long lunches were hosted." She expressed a desire for the property to be purchased by someone who will "love, appreciate and preserve her beauty and history." The listing has reportedly garnered interest from figures like Jennifer Grey and Amanda de Cadenet. The property is not currently listed on major real estate websites, suggesting Keating may be seeking a private buyer.
