Alex Reid, ex-husband of Katie Price, is set to offer his account of their marriage in a special one-night VIP show. The event, scheduled for next month in Aldershot, Hampshire, promises to explore his experiences with Price without a script or filters.
Reid, a former MMA fighter, stated, "For one night only, I’m doing my most honest live event yet. We’ll talk about everything. No script. No filters. No subjects off limits." Tickets for the show are priced at £43.
The former couple married in Las Vegas in February 2010 and divorced two years later. Their relationship and subsequent split have been topics of public discussion and media attention. Reid's appearance is anticipated to delve into aspects of their marriage, his experiences on shows like Celebrity Big Brother, and discussions about relationships and fatherhood.
Reid previously appeared in Price's documentary "Katie Price: Nothing To Hide," alongside other former partners of Price, including Gareth Gates and Dane Bowers. During his segment in the documentary, Reid made the statement, "She emasculates me."
The marriage to Reid occurred seven months after Price's divorce from Peter Andre and lasted just under a year before the couple announced their separation. Their divorce was finalized in March 2012. Price later attributed the split partly to Reid's cross-dressing alter-ego, Roxanne, while Reid claimed Price had "forced" him to reveal this aspect of himself.
A period of public conflict ensued, with Price being ordered in 2019 to pay Reid £140,000 in legal fees after allegations of showing sex tape footage of him. She also received a five-year injunction preventing her from sharing private information about their relationship.
Despite the past acrimony, Reid has more recently commented on Price's current marriage, expressing concern for her well-being. The documentary also featured Gary Bolingbroke, Price's first boyfriend, who reportedly ended their relationship over thirty years ago.
