AFL player Dan Houston and his partner, Channel Seven presenter Tyra Stowers, are expecting their first child, a baby girl, due in March.
The couple shared the news on social media Sunday, posting a video of themselves holding pink balloons. They captioned the announcement with "We can't wait to meet you."
Stowers, who is the weekend weather presenter for 7News, confirmed she is four months pregnant and feeling well, with all scans coming back normal. She indicated she plans to continue working until she is no longer able.
Houston, a 29-year-old defender for the Collingwood Magpies, joined the team in 2024 after previously playing for Port Adelaide. He was drafted by the Power in 2016 and played 168 games for the South Australian team before his move to Victoria.
Stowers, a graduate in journalism and public affairs from the Queensland University of Technology, joined Seven in 2024 after two years with the Nine Network. She previously worked for Fox Sports Australia and as a guest producer for Sky News Australia. Stowers and Houston began dating in March, with Stowers noting they bonded over their shared love for boxer dogs. She has since become a supporter of the Collingwood Magpies.
