Adam Thomas, known for his role in 'Waterloo Road,' has shared a harrowing experience from his youth where a gun was held to his head while he was a passenger on a bus. The actor recounted the incident on the "At Home With The Thomas Bros" podcast, which he hosts with his brothers Scott and Ryan.

Thomas, 38, was approximately 14 or 15 years old at the time. He was seated at the back of a double-decker bus when a group of individuals boarded. Initially, he believed the weapon displayed was a replica. However, the situation escalated when the perpetrators showed him the bullets, at which point he realized the gravity of the threat.

During the podcast, his brother Ryan, 42, reacted with surprise, likening the scenario to something from the video game 'Grand Theft Auto.'

The revelation came as the brothers were discussing travel stories. The episode also touched upon Ryan Thomas's personal life, including his fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh's recent explanation for their sleeping arrangements. Mecklenburgh stated that due to Ryan's snoring and sleep-talking, they often sleep in separate rooms, particularly at their main residence in Manchester, to ensure she can get adequate rest while managing their two young children.

The couple, who have been together since 2017 and got engaged in 2019, share son Roman and daughter Lilah. Mecklenburgh mentioned that having children before marriage has shifted their priorities, but they still intend to marry in the future.

Ryan had previously mentioned on the podcast that they maintain separate living rooms as well. Their London home, being smaller, sometimes necessitates them sharing a bed, a situation Adam Thomas found concerning.

Last year, Mecklenburgh elaborated on the sleeping arrangement, citing Ryan's snoring, sleep-talking, and physical movements during sleep as reasons for the separate beds. Ryan Thomas also has a daughter, Scarlett, from a previous relationship.

In April, the brothers had playfully teased Ryan about his public displays of affection with Mecklenburgh during a trip to Copenhagen, noting her usual aversion to PDA. Ryan, however, expressed his deep affection for Mecklenburgh, calling himself "besotted" with her and feeling like the "luckiest man in the world."
