Actor Adam Scott reflected on attending the July 3 wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, describing the event as a "real wedding" that, at its core, felt like a genuine celebration of two people in love.

Scott, who attended the ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City with his wife Naomi Scott, shared his observations on the Today show. He noted that despite the extravagant scale and the presence of approximately 1,000 guests, the prevailing impression was that of a sincere union. "You had the sense that these are just people who love each other," Scott said. "It was kind of on a grand scale – there were more people than were at my wedding – but at its core, it just felt like a regular wedding with two people coming together."

He recounted that "everyone teared up" during the event, calling it a "really lovely, lovely event." Scott also mentioned that his daughter, Frankie, was keen to hear all the details after he did not bring her to the ceremony, joking that he lost "some points" for not bringing her but gained some back when she stayed up to hear about the wedding.

Scott shared a photo on Instagram the day after the wedding with his wife, posing with Paul Rudd and his wife, Julie Yaeger, before they headed to the nuptials, captioning the post "❤️T&T❤️."

The wedding guest list, which included close friends of Swift like Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid, along with most of Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs teammates, also featured a number of other celebrities. This extensive and varied list led to some social media commentary, with some users referring to it as "unhinged" and questioning the inclusion of certain individuals.

Notable guests also included actors Eric Stonestreet and Ethan Hawke, as well as former White House Communications Director George Stephanopoulos. The mix of attendees prompted amusement and commentary online, with some fans seeing it as a testament to Swift and Kelce's wide-ranging connections.

Elsewhere, Graham Norton, speaking earlier this month on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio UK, described the wedding as "lovely" but indicated that certain elements incorporated into the ceremony were not to his personal taste. He remarked that while some additions were "lovely touches," others were things he "wouldn't have done," though he reiterated that it was a "lovely, lovely wedding."

Kelce himself recently commented on married life, stating that the wedding was "crazy" and the "best night" of his life. He made these remarks at Kansas City Chiefs training camp ahead of their first preseason game.
