Comic and actor Adam Sandler officiated the recent wedding of pop superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, offering the couple a single piece of marriage advice. Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who attended the ceremony, shared Sandler's advice and praised the actor's role in bringing together guests from diverse backgrounds.
Sandler, who has been married for 23 years, advised Swift and Kelce to "Kiss every chance you have, every day." Reid relayed this sentiment, emphasizing its simplicity and effectiveness. "It's hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss or your wife gives you a kiss," Reid said, adding, "And make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to do it. Knock it out and you won't have problems."
Reid described Sandler as having brought "a little bit of humor, but also some sensitivity" to the occasion. The wedding brought together a wide array of individuals, and Reid noted that Sandler "did a phenomenal job" in uniting them.
Reid recently narrated "Music and the Spoken Word," a special broadcast commemorating the nation's 250th anniversary. He further elaborated on Sandler's advice during a press conference for the event, reiterating his belief that it was "pretty good advice."
