This public display of family unity comes almost four years after Levine admitted to engaging in a public sexting scandal. In late 2022, amid Prinsloo's pregnancy with their third child, Instagram model Sumner Stroh publicly shared intimate messages she alleged were exchanged with Levine. Stroh claimed that Levine had indicated his relationship with Prinsloo was strained and that he had suggested naming their unborn child after her. While Levine denied having an affair, he acknowledged sending flirtatious text messages.
Levine addressed the situation at the time on social media, stating, "I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life. In certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family." He emphasized that his wife and family were his sole focus and that the incident was a significant mistake he would not repeat, taking full responsibility and expressing his commitment to working through it with his family.
Despite the scandal, the couple appears to be moving forward together. Prinsloo has continued to post about Levine on her social media, including a Valentine's Day tribute calling him "forever and ever" and a birthday message on her husband's birthday in March, referring to him as her "best friend."
Levine and Prinsloo, who are approaching their 12th wedding anniversary on July 19, have three children: daughters Dusty Rose, nine, and Gio Grace, eight, and a three-year-old son whose name has not been publicly revealed. The couple has maintained a relatively private family life, making this recent family photo a notable exception.
