ABC News correspondent Trevor Ault is currently en route to Alaska as part of the "50 States in 50 Weeks" initiative. The journey, which began prior to America's 250th birthday celebration scheduled for July 4, 2026, aims to cover all 50 U.S. states.
Ault is traveling across the Pacific Ocean for his visit to Alaska. The "50 States in 50 Weeks" project is a multi-year endeavor designed to explore the nation in the lead-up to a significant national milestone. The project's timing places its progression in direct correlation with the approach of America's semiquincentennial anniversary.
