Mido, 41, appears to have ended his relationship with Debby, 55, on Sunday’s episode of TLC's "90 Day Fiancé." The couple, who have experienced numerous arguments throughout the season since Mido moved from Egypt to New Orleans, Louisiana, faced a crisis as Mido’s visa expiration date approached.
Mido expressed his primary ambition to pursue an acting career in the United States, seeking representation from a Hollywood agent named Jason. During their conversation, Mido listed actors such as Will Smith, Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington, Al Pacino, and Brad Pitt as inspirations. While Jason acknowledged Mido's appearance, he suggested Mido focus on acting classes and improving his English before considering a professional working relationship.
Despite the agent's feedback, Mido remained confident in his acting abilities. Following his discussion with Jason, Mido informed Debby that he needed to continue taking acting classes. Debby, however, voiced concerns about their relationship timeline, noting that Mido’s visa was set to expire in one month and that he had not discussed marriage. She stated that if Mido did not demonstrate full commitment to their relationship, he would have to return to Egypt.
In an attempt to solidify their commitment, Debby surprised Mido with a visit to a chapel, suggesting they could marry within three weeks. This suggestion visibly increased Mido's discomfort. He expressed that Debby was pressuring him, which he disliked.
During a private moment at the chapel, Mido informed Debby that he felt overwhelmed and needed to return to Egypt. A shocked Debby questioned his statement, but Mido responded noncommittally, stating he could not envision himself marrying her. Debby, visibly distraught, exited the chapel and broke down in tears, exhibiting signs of a panic attack. The episode concluded with Debby in distress.
"90 Day Fiancé" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
