New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone has voiced his frustration regarding second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr.'s decision to eat a lollipop during a game. Boone stated that the action "pisses me off" and that it "won't be going on."

The incident occurred Tuesday in Detroit as the Yankees were trailing the Tigers. Chisholm was seen with the lollipop while playing defense. Boone, who typically defends his players, indicated that this particular behavior crossed a line.

"I didn't know about it until after the game. He and I talked about that," Boone told "Talkin' Yanks." "That won't be going on. I'm not on that."

Chisholm has been known for his often nonchalant demeanor and has made several bold statements, including predicting a 50-home run, 50-stolen base season and that the Yankees would win the World Series. However, he is currently on pace for career-worst statistics, with his batting average, slugging percentage, and OPS all marking the lowest of his career.

Chisholm is set to become a free agent after the current season and had previously expressed a desire for a contract in the range of $350 million.
