Golden State Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg captured attention with a viral video showing him posterizing his girlfriend, Tacarra, during a playful one-on-one basketball game. The incident occurred before the Warriors' game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.
Dub5 Apparel, a clothing brand with which Lendeborg and Tacarra are associated, posted the Instagram video showing the couple playing basketball. In the clip, the 6-foot-9 forward powerfully dunked over his girlfriend, followed by some verbal taunting. The brand has shared other clips of the couple playing basketball while wearing Dub5 merchandise.
The viral dunk came just before Lendeborg's game against the Lakers, where he scored a career-low six points and had a -20 plus/minus rating. Despite Lendeborg's subdued performance, the Warriors secured a 112-95 victory over the Lakers. The team is relying on the rookie's contributions as he has become a valuable member of the roster in the early part of the season.
