The Wisconsin Badgers will debut a new set of alternate uniforms for their upcoming Sept. 6 game against Notre Dame at Lambeau Field. The design incorporates silver, inspired by the Lombardi Trophy, and rose red accents to honor the team's Rose Bowl history.

The uniforms also feature a metallic "Motion W" logo with a texture reminiscent of Camp Randall's stone. The design combines elements from three distinct stripe patterns: the Packers' modern three-stripe, the Badgers' modern two-stripe, and the voussoir breaks found in the Camp Randall Arch.

This special uniform set is intended to commemorate the kickoff of the 2026 college football season and the United States' 250th birthday. The team's notable sponsorship patch with Culver's, a Wisconsin-based restaurant chain, is also featured on the alternate threads.

Coach Luke Fickell is entering his fourth season with the Badgers, holding a 17-21 record. The 2026 season is considered a pivotal one for Fickell's tenure.

The team's performance in the upcoming season remains a key question, but the new uniforms are designed to make a statement. The Sept. 6 matchup against Notre Dame will be played at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
