Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was arrested in Milwaukee on Thursday night on suspicion of operating while intoxicated (OWI), according to reports.
Romo was reportedly stopped on a highway and subsequently performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He was released and is scheduled to appear in court on September 21.
Romo retired from professional football in 2017 and joined CBS as a color commentator shortly thereafter.
Neither the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office nor CBS immediately responded to requests for comment.
This is a developing story.
