The tag team duo known as The Hardys, comprising brothers Matt and Jeff Hardy, have recaptured the TNA World Tag Team Championship after winning a four-way ladder match at the recent Slammiversary event. The victory marks their fifth tag team championship reign in TNA history, tying them with Beer Money Inc. and The Wolves for the most reigns in the promotion.
Jeff Hardy, at 48 years old, executed a notable Swanton Bomb off a ladder during the match. The bout also featured competitors Bear Bronson and Brian Myers, Jason Hotch and John Skyler, and Vincent and Dutch. The Hardys ultimately secured the championship belts after a series of ladder-based maneuvers.
This title win represents the second reign for The Hardys within the last year. They held the championship for 265 days prior to losing it to Myers and Bronson at Rebellion earlier this year. Bronson and Myers' reign lasted 78 days before The Hardys' recent victory at Slammiversary.
