Despite facing serious legal allegations, former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold is reportedly planning to visit NFL teams that have expressed interest in him. Arnold was arrested on four counts each of kidnapping and armed robbery, charges that carry a potential life sentence. He has pleaded not guilty to all allegations.

Arnold was released from custody after posting a $1 million bond. His release conditions permit him to travel for NFL team visits, as well as for court appearances. According to ESPN, he is "expected" to embark on a free agency tour after clearing waivers on Monday.

Arnold, a former first-round pick, appeared in 22 games for the Lions after being drafted 24th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. His agent, Harvey Steinberg, has previously stated that he anticipated Arnold signing with a team within 30 days of his release and indicated that at least three teams had already made contact.

Authorities allege that Arnold was the "primary conspirator" in a kidnapping and assault case that occurred in February. The incident involved Arnold and six other individuals purportedly luring three victims to an apartment. According to the Detroit Free Press, one of the involved individuals was Arnold's personal driver. Arnold and three co-conspirators reportedly informed the police of over $250,000 in property loss.

It is alleged that Arnold instructed his 18-year-old girlfriend and her roommate to lure the three men to an apartment and later provided instructions during the robbery. Police reports indicate the three alleged victims sustained visible injuries from being battered, held at gunpoint, and pistol-whipped before their personal property was stolen and they were ordered to leave.

Arnold surrendered to police on June 24. Even if NFL teams decide to sign him, the league retains the option to place Arnold on the Commissioner's Exempt List.
