Russell Wilson, in his new role as a CBS Sports broadcaster, has drawn criticism from NFL fans for suggesting Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow might seek an exit if the team falters this season. Wilson's comments, made during his debut on "NFL Today" on Sunday afternoon, sparked backlash on social media.

"I think he's tired of losing," Wilson stated. "He's really focused on making sure that this is that special year. Listen, if it doesn't go well in Cincinnati this year, Joe Burrow is gone. I think he wants to leave. What's going to be interesting is, where does he go?"

These remarks quickly drew ire from fans who noted that Burrow himself had recently reaffirmed his commitment to the Bengals. In the days leading up to the 2026 NFL season, Burrow told FOX19, "It was never a question in my mind." He added, "I love it here. I love everything about this place, so we're going to make it work."

One user on X, formerly Twitter, posted, "How much of an idiot do you have to be to say this STILL after Burrow just literally shot this dumb a-- sh-- down like last week??"

Burrow, 29, has played his entire NFL career with the Bengals since being drafted first overall in 2020. He led the team to Super Bowl LVI in his second season, though the Bengals have not reached the playoffs since 2022, with recent seasons impacted by injuries and performance struggles. Despite these challenges, Burrow signed a five-year, $275 million contract extension in September 2023.

Burrow reiterated his dedication to the team earlier this week, stating, "I mean what I say. I'm here for the long haul. I'm not going anywhere."

The Bengals are scheduled to begin their 2026 season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Maze-like logic puzzles for beginners and experts alike, each with a unique visual challenge.
