The jail sentence for Raja Jackson, son of mixed martial arts legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, has been delayed as he seeks to attend medical appointments. Jackson was scheduled to begin a 90-day jail sentence this week following a plea deal related to an assault at a wrestling event in August 2025.
A Los Angeles courtroom granted Jackson’s request on Monday to postpone the start of his incarceration until July 2. Prosecutors objected to the delay, according to court records obtained by The California Post, but the judge approved the request for Jackson to attend several scheduled medical appointments.
Jackson pleaded no contest on May 6 to one count of battery with serious bodily injury. He also admitted to two special allegations: personal infliction of great bodily injury and that he engaged in violent conduct. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office stated that he was expected to be sentenced to 90 days in county jail, two years of formal probation, and ordered to pay $81,703.38 in restitution.
The incident occurred at a Knokx Pro Wrestling event where Jackson reportedly entered the ring after a confrontation with Stuart Smith, also known as Syko Stu. Jackson then allegedly knocked Smith unconscious and continued to strike him until other wrestlers intervened. Raja Jackson's attorney, Michael G. Freedman, declined to comment on the rescheduling of the hearing.
