P.J. Tucker, a former NBA player, has predicted that LeBron James and Anthony Davis will join the Golden State Warriors in the upcoming offseason. Tucker shared his belief during a guest appearance on the "Club 520" podcast at Fanatics Fest this past weekend.

"I got him going to Golden State," Tucker said during the live show. "LeBron to Golden State is going to be tough." He further elaborated that after James potentially lands with the Warriors, the team would then pursue a trade for Davis. "AD about to get out of Washington. They going to get AD. AD and Bron to Golden State. What’s up."

Rumors about James's potential interest in joining the Warriors circulated prior to him becoming an unrestricted free agent for the first time in eight years. James has previously expressed admiration for playing alongside Stephen Curry, calling their collaboration during the 2024 Summer Olympics one of the best experiences of his career. Curry was a standout performer in those games, shooting 47.8% from three-point range.

During their tenure as teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers from 2019 to 2026, James and Davis were instrumental in securing the franchise's 17th championship in 2020. The Warriors may be hoping that James and Davis can contribute to another championship run before Curry's potential retirement.

Both James and Curry are in the later stages of their careers, each aiming for a fifth championship ring. James will turn 42 in January, while Curry will turn 39 in March.

Despite the Warriors reportedly having Davis on their wish list, recent reports indicate that the Washington Wizards do not plan to trade him, suggesting this potential acquisition might remain aspirational.
