Odell Beckham Jr. has brought back his signature blonde hairstyle, a look he sported during notable moments of his initial tenure with the New York Giants. He offered a partial glimpse of the dyed hair on Friday while speaking to reporters after practice but did not provide a full reveal.
Beckham, who signed a one-year contract with the Giants in June, stated that there wasn't a singular reason for returning to the blonde color, although some teammates played a role in his decision. "I don’t know. It just was something I was feeling," Beckham said. "I kind of got a request from a couple of young guys. It was, ‘We need to see the blonde, I need that.’ It was just like a core memory."
He also mentioned enjoying the ability to change his appearance while he can. "It’s always fun to switch it up," Beckham commented. "I could have black hair forever … I can’t fry this [hair] forever and it might grow back. Now was the time."
Beckham maintained his natural hair color throughout training camp. He last played in 2024 for the Miami Dolphins, where he recorded nine receptions for 55 yards across limited appearances.
