Construction of the Oakland Athletics' new $2 billion ballpark in Las Vegas is progressing, with the steel framing now reaching the third and fourth levels. This significant milestone means the structure is tall enough to be visible on the Las Vegas Strip's skyline.

The project is on schedule for completion by February 29, 2028. Recent updates show the stadium's structure is increasingly taking shape, with elements of the field becoming apparent from a distance. The steel framing additions are a key visual indicator of the ongoing development.

Beyond the structural steel, other components of the stadium are also nearing completion. The concourse connecting the two seating sections has been finished for over a month. Additionally, the first roof truss arch was put in place approximately two weeks ago. The roof's construction is expected to be a prominent feature visible from the Las Vegas Strip.

The second roof truss is scheduled for installation in July, with the second arch to follow. These advancements indicate steady progress toward the ballpark's projected opening. The development signifies a tangible step forward for the Athletics' relocation and their future home in Las Vegas.
