Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Gavin McKenna announced he will change his jersey number from 72 to accommodate newly acquired veteran Sergei Bobrovsky. The Maple Leafs signed the two-time Stanley Cup champion Bobrovsky on July 1, prompting the change for McKenna.
McKenna, the Maple Leafs' top pick in the recent NHL draft, had worn No. 72. The team has not yet announced what number McKenna will wear for the upcoming season.
