Manchester United has reached an agreement on a transfer fee of up to £70 million for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Carlos Baleba. The two clubs finalized negotiations on Friday evening, clearing the path for the 22-year-old Cameroonian international to undergo a medical examination with Manchester United.
This move sees Manchester United strengthening their midfield, having previously secured Andrey Santos from Chelsea and Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa. The agreed fee includes an initial payment of £65 million, with an additional £5 million possible through add-ons. Brighton has also successfully negotiated a sell-on clause as part of the deal.
