An Indianapolis man, Kevin Singh, 48, has been arrested and charged with stalking, intimidation, and harassment for allegedly stalking Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham and sending her explicit messages via social media.
Singh was arrested on Tuesday and charged on Wednesday. The alleged messages, dating back to at least September 2025, included affectionate phrases and sexually explicit comments directed at Cunningham. Authorities stated that Cunningham initially dismissed the messages but became concerned as the behavior escalated, leading to nightmares and increased time spent at home.
In addition to the online messages, security cameras at Gainbridge Fieldhouse captured Singh leaving a package addressed to Cunningham. The package contained a shirt sprayed with cologne and a letter.
When Pacers Sports & Entertainment security head John Ball sent Singh a cease-and-desist letter, Singh allegedly responded with threatening messages directed at Ball. In these alleged communications, Singh expressed anger about being threatened with jail time and criticized Cunningham's mental health.
Singh, who is reportedly already on probation for an unrelated case, faces two counts of stalking and intimidation, which are Class 6 felonies. Each charge carries a potential sentence of six months to 2.5 years in prison. He is expected to appear in court on Thursday.
Earlier this month, Singh filed a lawsuit against Pacers Sports & Entertainment, claiming he suffered financial losses, embarrassment, emotional distress, and loss of access to events after being banned from the arena. The lawsuit documents indicate he was barred from the arena.
This incident is the latest in a series of troubling events involving Fever players. In July 2025, a man was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison after pleading guilty to stalking star Caitlin Clark. In November, Cunningham was assigned security at a golf event in Florida after a man, reportedly in his 70s, claimed to be her boyfriend, apparently after being scammed online.
