Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, registered nurse Brooklyn Adams. The couple announced their engagement on Tuesday, with Adams sharing the news on Instagram.
Adams posted a series of photos from the proposal, which took place on a boat. In the images, St. Brown is seen getting down on one knee as the couple embraced. Adams captioned the post, "Hard launch."
St. Brown and Adams have been a couple since high school. They purchased a house together last year, according to a February interview St. Brown gave to People. He spoke about the support he receives from Adams and his family, including his brothers Equanimeous and Osiris, who are also involved in professional football.
In 2025, Adams assisted St. Brown and his brothers in establishing the St. Brown Foundation. The foundation's stated mission is to "help students succeed academically and shoot for the stars — because when you put in the work, the possibilities are endless."
Several NFL figures offered congratulations following the announcement. Lions quarterback Jared Goff responded with a teary-eyed emoji, while Bears quarterback Caleb Williams posted "wow." Nicole Madisyn, the girlfriend of Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs, shared her excitement with the caption "FIANCEEEE."
St. Brown and the Lions are preparing for their upcoming season, which begins on September 13 against the New Orleans Saints. Individually, St. Brown will aim for his fifth consecutive season with over 1,100 receiving yards.
