LeBron James has relocated to Philadelphia to join the 76ers, but his family has not entirely followed him. While James moved for his new team, his wife Savannah and their daughter Zhuri decided to stay in Los Angeles.

Savannah James explained in an appearance on the "Baby, This is Keke Palmer" podcast that their 12-year-old daughter wished to remain on the West Coast to stay in school and continue playing volleyball with her teammates. "I don't want to be away from school for that long. I still want to play with my teammates," Zhuri reportedly told her mother.

Savannah added that Zhuri understood she would still have opportunities to visit her father on the East Coast, balancing her desire for familiar social and academic environments with family time. The James family will have a chance to see LeBron play in Los Angeles on Christmas Day when the Lakers host the 76ers.
