The Los Angeles Lakers have re-signed Chris Manon to a two-way contract, filling the last available two-way slot on their roster. The deal ensures Manon will remain with the team through the 2026-27 season.
Manon, who went undrafted from Vanderbilt in 2025, spent the 2025-26 season with the Lakers on a two-way deal. During that season, he played in 33 regular-season games for the South Bay Lakers, averaging 10.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.9 steals per contest. He helped lead South Bay to the best record in the Western Conference at 26-10.
The 6-foot-4 guard earned a spot on the 2025-26 NBA G League All-Defensive Team and finished as the runner-up in Defensive Player of the Year voting. He also made nine appearances for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2025-26 NBA season.
The Lakers also reached two-way agreements with Peter Suder and AK Okereke, both of whom debuted in the California Classic summer league on Friday. These signings followed the NBA draft last week. The team has not yet officially announced these deals.
Additionally, the South Bay Lakers, the team's G League affiliate, will be renamed the Coachella Valley Lakers and will relocate to the Greater Palm Springs region beginning next season.
