Kylie Kelce employed a range of superstitious tactics to try and improve her husband Jason Kelce's performance during a challenging round of golf at the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe. The couple was on the eighth hole of their opening round on Friday when Kylie began implementing unconventional methods to shift Kelce's fortunes.

Initially, Kylie stepped away from walking directly beside her husband, choosing instead to mingle with patrons outside the ropes. She also suggested he grab a beer, a common practice during leisurely rounds. However, as Kelce's struggles continued onto the ninth hole and the tenth tee, she escalated her efforts. On the tenth tee, Kylie turned her back completely on Jason, hoping that this gesture would provide the necessary 'mojo' to alter his game. She maintained this position, even turning away during his putts.

Despite Kylie's efforts, these superstitious maneuvers did not immediately translate into an improved golf game for Jason Kelce. This behavior aligns with Kylie Kelce's self-professed superstitious nature, which she discussed on her "Not Gonna Lie" podcast in 2024. She admitted to being "aggressively superstitious," recalling how she "refused to watch" several plays during Super Bowl LVIII when Jason was competing against his brother, Travis.

While Friday's round at the American Century Championship may not have seen immediate results from Kylie's unique approach, Jason Kelce had two more days of competition through Sunday to potentially turn his game around.
