Brexton Busch, the 11-year-old son of the late NASCAR driver Kyle Busch, achieved his first racing win two months after his father's passing. His mother, Samantha Busch, shared the emotional moment on Instagram, detailing her mixed feelings of pride and heartbreak.

Brexton competed and won in the restricted micro sprint class at Oklahoma's Port City Raceway, starting from 14th place and overcoming a first-lap incident. Samantha Busch documented his performance, highlighting his resilience and determination.

"Brexton continues to amaze me with his determination, his resilience, the way he keeps showing up to do what he loves even while carrying so much at such a young age," Samantha wrote in her Instagram caption. She reflected on how much Kyle Busch would have enjoyed watching his son race, emphasizing that seeing Brexton compete brought Kyle immense happiness.

Kyle Busch died in May at the age of 41, several months after becoming unresponsive during a test in a Chevrolet racing simulator. It was later revealed that he had been diagnosed with pneumonia that had progressed to sepsis.

Samantha Busch has been candid about her family's grieving process. In a recent reflection, she noted that "heartbreak and joy no longer exist separately." She shared a photo of herself with Brexton and his younger sister, Lennix, celebrating the victory, with a message to Brexton stating, "Dad would’ve been so, so proud."

Kyle Busch's No. 8 car will reportedly not be used again until Brexton joins NASCAR. Samantha and Kyle Busch were married in December 2010.
