Joey Chestnut once again proved his dominance at the 2026 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, consuming 66 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes to claim his 18th career title. The event took place on Coney Island on Saturday afternoon, with Chestnut securing his victory in front of a large crowd.
Despite a heat wave impacting the competition, Chestnut quickly established a significant lead over his rivals, including Patrick Bertoletti, who vied for second place. The victory on America's 250th birthday further solidifies Chestnut's status as a preeminent figure in competitive eating.
In the women's division, Miki Sudo also maintained her winning streak, capturing her 12th career title. Sudo consumed 38.75 hot dogs and buns within the 10-minute time limit, outperforming her closest competitors to retain the Pink Mustard Belt.
