Actor and comedian Joel McHale surprised fans by taking on a photographer role for the Seattle Seahawks' season-opening game against the New England Patriots. McHale, known for his roles in "Community" and "The Bear," was seen with a camera equipped with a zoom lens, wearing a vest typically given to game photographers.

The Seattle native also made an appearance on local station KING 5's pregame show, a station where he previously worked during his college years at the University of Washington. McHale has a history with the university's football program, having walked on as a tight end for the Washington Huskies and been part of the team that won the 1992 Rose Bowl.

The game itself was a close contest, with the Seahawks ultimately securing a 13-10 victory. The win came down to the wire in the fourth quarter when Seattle's Jason Myers kicked a field goal, followed by a late interception by the Patriots' quarterback Drake Maye, sealing the Seahawks' win.
