Free agent Jadon Sancho is reportedly leaning towards a move abroad as he considers his next career step, despite receiving offers from English Premier League clubs. Sancho, 26, became a free agent six weeks ago when his contract with Manchester United concluded. He is currently assessing his options for the upcoming season.

Borussia Dortmund, where Sancho has had two previous spells and made 158 appearances, is among the clubs reportedly interested in acquiring his services. Manchester United signed Sancho from Dortmund in 2021 for a fee of £73 million.

Sancho spent the last season on loan at Chelsea, making 41 appearances. The transfer agreement included an obligation to buy, but Chelsea paid a reported £5 million penalty to send him back to Manchester United. He also spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Aston Villa, featuring in 39 matches as the club secured Champions League qualification and achieved Europa League success. He appeared as a late substitute in Villa's Europa League victory over Freiburg, marking his third European final in three seasons.

To maintain his fitness ahead of the new season, Sancho has been training at non-league club Flixton. While he is said to favor a move away from England, he remains open to all possibilities as he evaluates offers from various clubs.
