The New York Giants have agreed to a three-year contract extension with cornerback Greg Newsome II, worth $46 million and including $32 million guaranteed, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The deal recognizes Newsome II's significant contributions since joining the team during the offseason.

Newsome II, 26, signed a one-year contract with the Giants in the offseason after spending the previous season with the Jaguars. He has since become a stable presence in the Giants' secondary, playing alongside Deonte Banks.

In his six appearances this season, Newsome II has recorded 25 tackles, one interception, and six passes defended. He missed one game against the Texans due to injury.
