Aaliyah Kikumoto, who became a viral sensation after being noticed at the 2023 Masters golf tournament, has embarked on a new career as an NFL cheerleader for the Miami Dolphins.
Kikumoto gained widespread attention when cameras captured her standing behind the 16th tee box at Augusta National Golf Club during the tournament. A clip of her appearance circulated on social media platforms, with one user expressing affection after seeing her for only a brief moment on broadcast. Kikumoto acknowledged the attention by commenting on the post and sharing the video on her own Instagram account.
Following her newfound fame from the Masters, Kikumoto pursued opportunities in modeling and became an ambassador for Celsius Energy Drink. She also draws inspiration from her mother, AJ Kikumoto, a former dancer for the Denver Nuggets.
Kikumoto, who previously cheered in college for Texas Tech, expressed her excitement about joining the Dolphins. In an Instagram post, she shared, "Still feels surreal getting to say... I AM A MIAMI DOLPHINS CHEERLEADER." She extended gratitude to colleagues who supported her and stated her eagerness to represent the organization.
"This is seriously a dream come true. I'm so grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way and for the opportunity to continue doing what I love the most," Kikumoto added. She is set to begin her role, continuing her involvement in sports entertainment both on and off the field.
