Florida Gators head coach Jon Sumrall has publicly engaged in a social media dispute with ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky, sharing a photograph of Orlovsky sniffing a woman's shoe on-air.
The exchange began when Sumrall's wife, Ginny, mentioned in an interview that her husband regularly gets pedicures, describing it as his "favorite extra thing to do" during the football season. This revelation prompted Orlovsky to voice his disapproval on ESPN's "Get Up."
"I am completely against pedicures for dudes," Orlovsky stated on the program. "You're a dude. You're not supposed to get pedicures. I'd rather have awful feet than get pedicures."
Sumrall responded to Orlovsky's comments by posting a screenshot on X (formerly Twitter) of the ESPN analyst sniffing former co-host Molly Qerim's shoe during a past episode of "First Take." The image quickly gained traction online, with many users mocking Orlovsky for the incident, which occurred in 2024.
This public back-and-forth provides offseason entertainment as Sumrall prepares for his first season as the head coach of the Florida Gators. The team faces a challenging schedule, with CBS Sports projecting a 6-6 record for Sumrall's debut season, which includes matchups against prominent SEC opponents like Georgia, Texas, and Auburn.
