England's World Cup last-16 match against Mexico is reportedly set to be moved to an earlier kick-off time on Sunday, with FIFA understood to be considering the change due to potential thunderstorms and heavy rain in Mexico City.

The match, currently scheduled for 01:00 BST on Monday (18:00 local time Sunday), could now begin at 19:00 BST on Sunday. FIFA has not yet officially confirmed the reason for the potential alteration.

According to FIFA regulations for the 2026 World Cup, the organization retains the right to "cancel, reschedule or relocate" matches at its "sole discretion."
