The Philadelphia Eagles are making a change at quarterback for their upcoming game against the New York Giants, opting to start Joe Milton III and bench Tanner McKee. Milton will take over the starting role as the Eagles look to break a six-game losing streak.

Tanner McKee had been the starting quarterback since Jalen Hurts was placed on injured reserve due to blood clots. Under McKee's starts, the Eagles have lost all three games, contributing to their current 2-6 record and last-place standing in the NFC East. McKee, 26, has thrown for 638 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions this season.

Milton, also 26, was signed by the Eagles off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad last month. He was originally a sixth-round pick by the New England Patriots in 2024 and made four appearances for the Cowboys last season.
