Celtic and Rangers have been ordered to play their next home Scottish Cup matches without supporters in attendance due to fan disorder during last season's quarter-final. Both clubs must also pay a £100,000 penalty to the opponent they are drawn against in that fixture.
An additional home match without fans could be imposed on either club if their supporters engage in further "unacceptable conduct" during a Scottish Cup fixture. The decision follows an incident last season where supporters from both teams entered the pitch after Celtic defeated Rangers on penalties in the quarter-finals at Ibrox. Several arrests were made in connection with the pitch invasion.
Celtic ultimately progressed to the semi-finals of the competition last season.
