Caitlin Clark led the Indiana Fever to a franchise-record 123 points in their 123-88 victory over the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday night. Clark posted a double-double with 27 points and 11 assists, continuing her team's recent momentum with a third consecutive win.

The Fever also set a franchise record for points in a half, leading the Sun 70-46 at halftime. The game marked the third-highest scoring contest in WNBA history without overtime.

Teammates Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell also contributed significantly to the scoring. Boston, the top pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, added 22 points, while Mitchell chipped in 23 points. Monique Billings and Tyasha Harris each scored 12 points for Indiana.

With the win, the Fever improved their season record to 17-10. They will head into the All-Star break atop the Eastern Conference standings, holding a narrow lead over Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream.

Clark, Boston, and Mitchell are scheduled to represent the Fever at the upcoming All-Star weekend in Chicago.

In separate commentary, sports analyst Dan Dakich criticized Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White for her response to a letter from Republicans concerning Clark's treatment. Reports have suggested some of the scrutiny Clark faces may be racially motivated. Dakich questioned the coach's perceived lack of defense for her star player and the league's response to the situation, especially given congressional involvement.
