Caitlin Clark has been named the WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month for June, marking her second career selection for the award. This recognition comes after she averaged 21.9 points, 8.2 assists, and 4.0 rebounds across 10 games during the month, helping the Indiana Fever to a 7-4 record.

Clark's performance placed her fourth in the WNBA in scoring and second in assists. Her efforts contributed to the Fever boasting the league's highest-scoring offense at 95.5 points per game. The rookie guard also achieved significant milestones in June, including a 32-point, 10-assist performance against Chicago on June 11, where she and teammate Aliyah Boston became the first pair of teammates in WNBA history to each record a 30-point double-double in the same game. Five days later, she recorded 21 points and a season-high 14 assists in a win over Toronto.

From June 11 to June 22, Clark set a new WNBA record by registering at least 20 points and five assists in six consecutive games. This streak of consecutive 20-point, five-assist performances is a feat she has now accomplished three times in her career, with all other players in league history combining for the same total.

Her streak of consecutive games with at least 20 points and five assists was interrupted when a back injury forced her to leave Indiana's June 24 game against Phoenix in the third quarter. During that same game, Phoenix Mercury's Alyssa Thomas was assessed a flagrant foul for contact with Clark's neck.

Clark is also on the verge of further career milestones. Entering July, she needs nine assists to reach 600 for her career and five three-pointers to become the fastest player in league history to make 200 career threes. She joins Hall of Famer Tamika Catchings as the only players in Indiana Fever history to receive the Player of the Month award, with Catchings having won it three times.
