Jets running back Breece Hall stated that his new three-year, $43.5 million contract has fueled a greater hunger to prove his worth to the team. Hall, who signed the deal this offseason, said the contract motivates him to exceed his past performance.

"It makes me more hungry to keep proving I am who I say I am," Hall said Tuesday at Jets training camp. "It’s making me want to do more than I’ve done in the past."

Since being selected by the Jets with the No. 36 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Hall has emerged as one of the league's most talented running backs. Last season, he achieved a career-high in rushing yards, accumulating 1,065 yards and four touchdowns over 16 games, while also adding 350 receiving yards and a touchdown on 36 receptions.

Now entering his fifth season, Hall believes he is positioned to reach his full potential, crediting the Jets' "complete offense." He highlighted the contributions of the team's offensive weapons, including two top tight ends, wide receivers Garrett Wilson and Adonai Mitchell, a strong offensive line, and the team's quarterback.

Hall anticipates an offense capable of numerous explosive plays this season, despite the team currently flying under the radar. He specifically mentioned rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq, the No. 16 overall pick in the 2026 draft, and fellow tight end Mason Taylor as key contributors.

The running back also praised new offensive coordinator Frank Reich, describing him as a "players coach" who allows players to "make the offense their own." Hall noted that Reich's "very chill and cool" demeanor has fostered a more relaxed practice environment and encouraged natural competition.

This competitive atmosphere, Hall explained, has pushed him to improve. He pointed to his daily competition with teammates like Garrett Wilson for the title of best player on offense, and with running backs Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis, as crucial for his development.
