BBC ALBA and BBC Sport will broadcast 38 live matches from Italy's Serie A during the upcoming season, with one league game shown each round.

The broadcast schedule begins Sunday with the match between Atalanta and Sassuolo, available on BBC ALBA and BBC iPlayer starting at 19:35 BST. BBC ALBA will air 19 of these games, featuring both Gaelic and English commentary, while BBC Sport will stream an additional 19 matches on BBC iPlayer with English commentary.

Several Scottish players are set to feature in Serie A this season. Kieron Bowie and Josh Doig are part of the Sassuolo squad for their match against Atalanta. Scott McTominay is a key player for Napoli, and Billy Gilmour is expected to play a more significant role for his club under new manager Massimiliano Allegri after recovering from a knee injury. Lewis Ferguson is preparing for his fifth campaign with Bologna, having won the Coppa Italia in 2025. Torino striker Che Adams and Udinese teenager Lennon Miller also form part of the Scottish international contingent in Italy.

The deal expands BBC Sport's coverage of European football, which already includes clips from the Bundesliga and La Liga.
