Arsenal has decided to loan out 19-year-old midfielder Ethan Nwaneri rather than pursue a permanent sale. Manager Mikel Arteta believes another loan spell would provide the young player with valuable competitive game time.
Nwaneri was recently left out of the squad for the Community Shield victory against Manchester City. This decision comes amid interest from several clubs, including Premier League sides Fulham and Everton, who have scouted the player this summer. European clubs, such as RB Leipzig, have also expressed interest in Nwaneri.
Arsenal is also considering the futures of other players. Gabriel Jesus is reportedly a target for Napoli, while Gabriel Martinelli has attracted interest from Al Sadd. However, Martinelli's preference is to either remain with Arsenal or move to another top league if a transfer occurs.
