Andrade El Idolo, an All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star, is recovering from a head injury that required six stitches following an attack by MJF at the AEW Grand Slam Mexico event. El Idolo shared an image of the laceration on social media, indicating he may be out of action for "a few days or weeks."

The incident occurred after El Idolo secured the No. 1 entrant spot in the Casino Gauntlet match at All In. MJF, who has been involved in a feud with El Idolo, interrupted El Idolo's celebration, leaving him bloodied before declaring his own intention to enter the qualifying match.

El Idolo, upon returning to Miami, sought immediate medical attention. While stating the injury is "nothing serious," he confirmed the need for time away from the ring. He posted updates on his condition across social media platforms, including Instagram and X.

This confrontation is part of an ongoing rivalry between El Idolo and MJF, which intensified after MJF's previous alignment with the Don Callis Family. MJF recently regained the AEW World Championship from Darby Allin at Double or Nothing and has been asserting his claim to the title, even promoting his personal "Triple B" championship. The attack on El Idolo appears to be MJF's attempt to secure his own path back to a world championship opportunity.
