Amy Hunt of Great Britain claimed her second gold medal at the European Championships, winning the 200-meter race with a season's best time of 22.19 seconds. The victory followed her 100-meter gold win on Monday.

Compatriot Dina Asher-Smith finished in third place, earning a bronze medal. Ireland's Rhasidat Adeleke secured the silver medal, setting a new national record in the process.

The 24-year-old Hunt is aiming to be the first athlete to win four European Athletics Championship gold medals in a single tournament, with the women's and mixed 4x100m relay events still to be contested.
