Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal is reportedly working on acquiring two prominent Premier League forwards: Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins.
Martinelli, the Brazilian winger for Arsenal, has expressed reluctance to leave top-tier European leagues unless for another competitive league. However, reports suggest Al Hilal is prepared to offer a substantial contract, alongside a transfer fee that approaches Arsenal's valuation of approximately £60 million. Arsenal had previously rejected a £38 million bid from Galatasaray for Martinelli, as the player was reportedly not interested in a move to Turkey.
Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins was notably absent from the team's lineup on Sunday. Talks are understood to be ongoing after Al Hilal's fourth offer for Watkins this summer, reportedly £45 million, was rejected on Friday.
Al Hilal has been exploring various options within the Premier League. Discussions have also included Chelsea's Pedro Neto and Everton's Iliman Ndiaye. Chelsea has set a £100 million price tag for Neto, while Ndiaye is reportedly open to leaving Everton but seeks a move to a club competing in the Champions League.
