The cast for the upcoming season of "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" has been revealed, with former footballer Wayne Rooney and actress Joanna Page set to venture into the Australian jungle. The show, which pits celebrities against jungle-based challenges, will feature a total of 12 stars competing for the title of king or queen of the jungle.

Wayne Rooney, following in the footsteps of his wife Coleen Rooney who appeared on the show two years prior, is reportedly set to receive the highest fee in the program's 24-year history. Sources suggest the offer surpasses the £1.5 million Coleen reportedly earned. Wayne Rooney has previously expressed interest in the show, stating in an interview last year that it was something he would "never say no to."

Joanna Page, widely recognized for her role as Stacey in the BBC sitcom "Gavin & Stacey," will be leaving Barry Island for the jungle. Show insiders hope her appearance will allow viewers to "get to know the real Joanna," and she has reportedly confided in friends about her excitement to participate and make her children proud.

Comedian Leigh Francis is also joining the lineup, described by hosts Ant and Dec as their "dream signing." The presenters had previously pleaded for Francis to join the show on their podcast, viewing his potential participation as a "full circle moment" given a past sketch where he impersonated them.

Victoria's Secret Angel Leomie Anderson will swap the catwalk for the jungle. The supermodel, who made history in 2019 as the first black British model to become an Angel for the lingerie brand, previously appeared on Netflix's "Celebrity Bear Hunt" but was the first contestant eliminated. She is also stepping down from her role as host of the BBC makeup series "Glow Up."

Ricky Wilson, the frontman of the band Kaiser Chiefs, is another confirmed contestant. Known for hit songs like "Ruby" and "I Predict A Riot," Wilson has reportedly been a target for ITV bosses for years but has consistently declined previous offers. This year, however, he is ready to compete in the jungle challenges.
