Travis Kelce has spoken about his recent wedding to Taylor Swift, calling the July 3rd ceremony a "night out we’ll never forget." Kelce shared details on the season premiere of "New Heights," the podcast he hosts with his brother, Jason.
"Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up," Travis Kelce said. "From the vows to just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening and hearing that kind of be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night." He described the event as "just so magical, man."
While Kelce stated he had no regrets about the wedding, he admitted to one wish: "I wish it could have lasted even longer than it did. It felt like it just happened in the blink of an eye." His brother, Jason Kelce, jokingly interjected that "they kicked us out."
Travis Kelce also extended a "special thank you" to the wedding's officiant, Adam Sandler, whom he called "just the f***ing best person on this planet." Kelce detailed how Sandler was ordained in New York to perform the ceremony, adding that the actor delivered "more than we could have ever imagined in that moment." He referred to the occasion as "absolutely insane."
The wedding of Swift and Kelce took place at Madison Square Garden in New York and was attended by approximately 1,000 guests. Conan O'Brien, another guest, also commented on the ceremony on his podcast, "Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend." O'Brien praised Sandler's performance as officiant, calling it "brilliant and really sweet and perfection."
"He just hit the tone. He was funny. He was sweet. It was perfection," O'Brien said of Sandler. He also described the wedding itself as "lovely" and "very heartwarming," adding, "The whole thing was just absolutely beautiful. And people have said this, but I’ll just double down — it was really sweet and real."
