Tom Holland and Zendaya have gifted a luxury holiday to Japan to Holland's parents, Dominic and Nicola, after the couple found themselves too exhausted from extensive film promotions.

Holland and Zendaya recently completed back-to-back global press tours for their respective films, "The Odyssey" and "Spider-Man: Brand New Day." Dominic Holland, Tom's father, revealed at the Queen's Park Book Festival in London that the promotional efforts, which included numerous long-haul flights, left the couple too tired to take their planned trip.

"They were tired, they'd probably done maybe 20, 10-hour flights," Dominic Holland said. "And about three days after the London premiere, he said, 'dad, we've got this holiday to Japan.' And I said, 'that'll be nice Tom, you'll enjoy it.' And he said, 'dad, it's too far and I'm too tired. What I thought I'd do dad is that I'd send you and mum instead.'"

Dominic Holland recounted that while he and his wife enjoyed the first-class travel and accommodations, hotel and restaurant staff were initially expecting the Hollywood star. He humorously described the slight disappointment of staff members upon his arrival, stating, "in the strata of disappointment they are expecting Tom Holland and they get Dominic."

The news of the gifted holiday follows recent reports of Holland and Zendaya tying the knot again in a private ceremony at the five-star Beaverbrook Hotel in Surrey. The couple has been romantically linked since meeting on the set of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" in 2016, maintaining a relatively low-key relationship until recently.
